They participated in the contest, where each displayed his or her entrepreneurial skills. A panel of 10 expert assessors, comprising both internal and external authorities, including directors from eight different universities, took part in the evaluation process.
According to the director, DE&GS, Dr. Samuel Awolumate, the assessment benchmark covered various pivotal dimensions, notably a well-conceived approach to solving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and a clear demarcation from existing solutions.
It also included the current state of idea development, a comprehensive market analysis integrating SWOT analysis and strategic considerations, finance feasibility and sustainability deliberations, as well as an assessment of overall comportment.
At the end of the competition, three students from the north-central and south-west incubation centres clinched the first three positions and will proceed to represent NOUN in the north-central universities competition. They would later move on to participate in the prestigious All Universities in Nigeria competition.
